about us
Zero kids left behind
Most youth programs pick one thing — tutoring, mentoring, job training — and hope it’s enough. It never is. Chrestotes Circle connects all of it. Mentorship. Career readiness. Mental health support. Tech and AI skills. Intergenerational wisdom. Community service. All under one roof, all free to families, all built around the young people of Louisville who deserve more than just “staying out of trouble.”

Our Mission
Chrestotes Circle provides a home away from home for youth by fostering stability, offering mentorship, supporting mental well-being, and developing life skills. We deliver innovative programs, facilitate intergenerational exchange, and build strong community partnerships that connect young people with the resources and guidance they need to thrive today and prepare for their future.
Community-Powered Model
We embed in schools, libraries, rec centers, and spaces like Olympus Gaming Lounge — going where youth already are instead of waiting for them to come to us.
6 Connected Programs
Mentorship, tech skills, career readiness, mental health, intergenerational wisdom, and community service — all working together, not in silos
100% Free to Families
Every program, every resource, every opportunity — accessible to Louisville’s youth at no cost. Period.

Support, Share, and Make a Difference
Chrestotes Circle is 100% free to every family we serve. That’s only possible because of people like you. Every dollar goes directly toward reaching more young people, equipping mentors, and scaling a model built to outlast any single program or grant cycle.
This isn't another after-school program sitting in a church basement waiting for kids to show up.
The Youth Development Hub goes where young people already are — schools, libraries, rec centers, and community spaces. Through pop-up “Circles,” mobile micro-hubs loaded with tech and resources, and deep partnerships with existing tutoring and mentoring providers, we deliver academic support, mentorship, and skill-building without the overhead of a massive facility.
Powered by our partnership with Olympus Gaming Lounge.
Let’s be honest — you can’t prepare youth for the future with a curriculum from 2009. The Tech & Innovation Lab meets young people in a world they already love — gaming, digital media, and technology — and channels that energy into real skills.
- Esports leagues and gaming culture → teamwork, strategy, communication
- Coding clubs and AI literacy workshops → technical fluency for the modern economy
- Hackathons and design-thinking challenges → creative problem-solving with real stakes
- Digital storytelling → self-expression, media literacy, portfolio building
This isn’t screen time. It’s skill time.
This is what makes Chrestotes Circle unlike anything else in Louisville.
Wisdom Circles bring youth and elders together in intentional, structured spaces for dialogue, mentorship, and reciprocal learning.
Elders share life lessons, cultural knowledge, and hard-won guidance. Youth offer their perspective on technology, cultural shifts, and the world they’re inheriting.
And here’s the part people don’t expect: “Reverse Mentoring.” Young people teach older adults how to navigate AI tools, social media, and digital platforms. The learning flows both ways.
Research from Generations United (2022) shows that intergenerational programs reduce social isolation, increase empathy, and improve problem-solving skills — across all age groups.
This isn’t just good for kids. It’s good for everyone.
Get Involved
Your participation helps change lives.
Mentor a young person. Join a Wisdom Circle. Host a workshop. Partner your business. There are a dozen ways to plug into Chrestotes Circle — and every single one starts with one person deciding that Louisville’s kids deserve someone in their corner.
Community Fundraising
Help us keep every program free. Host a fundraiser, rally your network, or launch a campaign — every dollar raised goes directly to reaching more Louisville youth.
Mentor Children
Share your time, your story, and your skills. Whether you’re 25 or 75, Chrestotes Circle needs people who show up consistently for young people who need it most.
Donate Supplies
Laptops, books, art supplies, snacks — the small stuff adds up. In-kind donations keep our programs running and our youth equipped to learn, create, and grow.
What Our Members Say
testimonials
I used to come home from school and just sit there. Nobody was checking for me. Since I started coming to the Circle, I've learned to code, I've got a mentor who actually listens, and for the first time I feel like somebody believes I can do something with my life

Everything You Need to Know About Getting Involves
You can give directly through our website using the Donate button. We accept one-time and recurring donations. If you’d prefer to give by check or organize a fundraiser, reach out to us at nimaasgari603@gmail.com and we’ll get you set up.
Every dollar supports programs — not overhead. Your donation funds mentorship, Tech Lab equipment, Wisdom Circle events, workforce development opportunities, and mental health resources for Louisville youth. We keep costs low by partnering with existing community spaces instead of building our own.
Absolutely — and we need you. Become a mentor, join a Wisdom Circle as an elder, lead a workshop, or help run community events. You don’t need any special credentials. You just need to show up consistently. Hit the Get Involved button to apply.
Youth ages 10–18 in the Louisville area, with a focus on young people facing barriers like poverty, housing instability, and lack of access to enrichment programs. Every program is completely free to families.
Most programs do one thing in isolation. We connect six — mentorship, tech skills, career readiness, mental health, intergenerational exchange, and community service — into one integrated model. And we go where youth already are instead of expecting them to come to us.
